One of the (many) things that make it hard is our expectations. We all walk into relationships with a load of expectations— of what we want the others to do for us.
Some of these are based on our past pain.
Others are based on what we’ve seen (good) in others.
These all creates confusion…
… especially when we don’t talk about those expectations.
How can someone meet an expectation they know nothing about…?
